February's free stuff is a Virginia products map activity for fourth graders.
Copy the page of Virginia products, one page for each pair of students so
they can work together. Have the students draw the outline of a Virginia
map on a large piece of construction paper, indicating where the five
regions of Virginia lie with dotted boundary lines. Or, give the students a
teacher-made map outline and let the students draw the boundary lines for
the five regions. Have the students color the items and glue them onto the
map where they are produced. This is a good review activity.
